Camilo Jiménez is editor-in-chief and publisher of ARCADIA, Colombia's most influential medium for culture (print/digital/events). Between 2000 and 2008 he studied Philosophy and History (M.A.) in Berlin. Until 2011, he volunteered at the Süddeutsche Zeitung before he worked as a freelancer for SZ and ZEIT. Between 2007 and 2016, he worked as a European correspondent, domestic affairs reporter and editor-in-chief of reports for the Colombian weekly magazine "Semana". Between 2017 and 2018 he headed the VICE office in Bogotá and the digital projects "¡Pacifista!" about the peace process and "Candidater", a web-based tool that aims to provide information on political parties in the run-up to elections (in Germany known as Wahl-O-Mat). Camilo is a member of the board of the Press Freedom Foundation in Bogotá.

Er ist Mitglied des Vorstands der Stiftung für Pressefreiheit in Bogotá.
