Oliver della Costa Stuenkel

Oliver della Costa Stuenkel is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) in São Paulo and head of the Graduate Program at FGV's School of International Relations. He is a non-resident Fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, a columnist for EL PAÍS and Americas Quarterly and a commentator for Globonews TV. His research focuses on rising powers; specifically on Brazil’s, India’s and China's foreign policy and on their impact on global governance. He is the author of “IBSA: The rise of the Global South?", "BRICS and the Future of Global Order” and “Post-Western World: How Emerging Powers Are Remaking Global Order”. Oliver holds a Master in Public Policy from  the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a PhD in political science from the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany.
