Gregor Reisch

Subsequently to studying Political Science (Freie Universität Berlin/FUB) Gregor Reisch worked as a program manager at the Veranstaltungsforum Holtzbrinck Publishing Group before he joined the Research Unit Peace and Conflict Studies (FUB) and the research project “Variances and Consequences of Territorial Control by Non-State Actors” at the collaborative research center (SFB) 700 “Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood” (FUB) as a research associate/lecturer. His research/teaching focused on civil wars, terrorism, and peacekeeping as well as on data(sets) on violent conflict. He coordinated the successful grant application for the EU H2020 project (GA No. 769886) EU-LISTCO “Europe’s External Action and the Dual Challenges of Limited Statehood and Contested Orders”, worked as an academic advisor for the project “PREVIEW – Information Management in Crisis Early Warning” at the German Federal Foreign Office (FFO) and joined the FFO in 2018 as Desk Officer Crisis Early Warning.
